New Updates.....

Hello All,

Applebee's offered to give us two dates to have another pancake breakfast, we politely turned them down.....they are not willing to do anymore for our team even though the error was definitely on their end......I believe I smell a BOYCOTT!!!!

If you did not sell tickets, you will not be required to turn in any money. If you sold tickets for the breakfast and are not able to refund the money or they don't want it back, you can turn it in and have the amount go toward your bus fee or competition fee for Atlanta.

The bus price for Atlanta has changed to $25 per person (cheerleader, parent, or sibling) wanting to ride the bus. The bookkeeper at JCTMS gave Angela our balance before school ended on the 19th and the team cheer fund is going to be able to cover more of the bus fee than originally budgeted. We have at least 10-15 more seats available on the bus, let us know asap because it is first come first serve.

Practice starts back up on Tuesday the 6th, we still need drivers for the first few weeks of January, check your schedule and give one of us a call.

Hopefully everyone who got in on the basket fundraiser is busy selling tickets. I have a template for tickets or you can make your own. Just remember to distinguish between UK or UofL. We will set up at the remaining home game to sell tickets, if anyone wants to volunteer to watch the table for a game let me know......

Christmas Party.....

Hello All,

The Christmas party (we missed you Haley) went over well. Thanks for your thoughtfulness, it was much appreciated!

We need drivers on Tuesday and Thursday, please call me if you can drive. (Angela is out of town) Our game is on Wednesday, 6:15 p.m. at Male.

Pancake breakfast is Saturday, girls need to be there at 7:30 a.m.

Updates - December 12/08/08

Hello All,

Carpool drivers for the week are: Tuesday - Jane Weis, Tonya Bishop, and Vicki Hammond. Wednesday - Sharon Heady, Michelle Jenkins, Trenda Metcalf and Angela Giddings.

The game on Thursday is at home (Male) this week. The girls need to be there by 5:45 p.m.

Don't forget our Christmas party for the girls is this Saturday, December 13th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. It will be held at the Okolona Church of Christ, 6105 Outer Loop (same as cheer camp).

The game scheduled on Thursday, December 18 at Male has been changed to Wednesday, December 17 @ 6:15. We will not need carpool drivers for practice since we are having a game.

We want to hold practice on Thursday, December 18, if we have enough drivers. The people scheduled to drive for Wednesday, December 17th are Selena Quinn, Penny Rose and Sharon Heady let me know if you can drive on Thursday instead.

Each cheerleader was given tickets to a pancake breakfast on December 20th at the last game. They must sell 12 tickets to go toward the team fund! If you want to sell more than the 12 tickets to benefit your personal account, let me know and I (Tammy) will get them to you.

We are still looking for drivers......for the following dates.
