And more updates......

Hello All,

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have had several inquiries about doing a UK basket as well as a the U of L one - I am game for both. I will split the money and purchase items for both baskets. I have collected $50 so far!!

Angela gave me the final costs for Atlanta - - -

$149 per cheerleader for registration due December 18th.
$75 per cheerleader for the bus to/from Atlanta due January 29th.

There will be about 20 extra seats on the bus (the smaller bus was already booked) they are available on a first come first serve basis for $50. Parents, if you can handle the noise it is an alternative to driving down there.

Car pool drivers for December 2: William Davis (van) , Vicki Hammond (7), and Heather Jones (7). We do not have any drivers for December 3rd. We will have to cancel practice if no one signs up!

Wednesday, December 3rd (we need 20 seats - NO DRIVERS)
Tuesday, December 16th (we need 9 more seats)
Wednesday, December 17 (we need 8 more seats)
Tuesday, January 13th (we need 20 seats- NO DRIVERS)
Wednesday, January 14th (we need 16 more seats)
Tuesday, January 20th (we need 20 seats - NO DRIVERS)

If someone needs a ride home, let me know.

Please ask your cheerleader for the information sheet coming home this week that lists important dates/events coming up. The blogspot is really our best source of communication to parents, but we need EVERYONE to check it.

Hoops on Monday - and pictures......

Hello All,
The 6th grade basketball team invited us to come and cheer at Hoops on Monday. The cheerleaders need to be there at 5:00p.m., unfortunately the school is not providing transportation to the game.

The girls should wear the royal blue/white/yellow uniform with jewels on it.I do not honestly know if the 6th grade basketball team dresses for the games or not. I would say right now they should NOT plan on wearing their uniform to school on Monday.

I believe Angela told the girls last week. I understand that it will be hard for some parents to get their cheerleader there because of work, so I would suggest carpooling or riding the bus home with someone else whose parent can take.
Let me know if you have other questions

Updates November 11th

Hello All,

All Peeler cards and outstanding clothing balances are due immediately! Invoices are being sent to the school and we need to have enough in our account to pay them.

The game on Thursday is at Male High School. If you are working concession stand, please try and get there at 5:30 to help set up. All cheerleaders should be at the game fully dressed and ready to cheer by 5:45.

On a different note, during practice there is a lot of talking and playing going on. We want cheerleading to be fun but we need them to focus because someone could get seriously hurt. Tara was really on some girls yesterday for goofing off. I don't know if they realize the importance each role plays-as a base and a flyer. Please talk to your cheerleader about her role on the team.

Please reserve your room in Atlanta - we must have them reserved by the beginning of December.

If you have questions or concerns, please call or come to us.

Thanks
Angela and Tammy
