Hello Parents and Cheerleaders,
Tara has set up a MANDATORY practice for next week. Please plan on attending practice on Tuesday, November 4th, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. The cheerleaders were told this week on Tuesday and were supposed to relay the information to their parents.
Please use the phone list distributed if your child needs a ride. Several parents have told us they are off work that day because of the election.

Nationals Information
Hello Cheer Parents and Cheerleaders -
We are going to ATLANTA Cheersport Nationals. We will be competing February 13 - 15. We have blocked 20 rooms at the Hyatt Regency Downtown ($129 + tax/per night), you will need to reserve your own room and provide a room list using the website and password below by 12/01/08. Please access http://www.thsweb.com/ and enter password: P12382953789010 to make your reservation and receive confirmation. You must use a valid credit card and email address. Any rooms not guaranteed with a credit card will be released on 12/05/08.
We will be sending home parent packets and further information in the next few weeks. Please continue to check the blogspot for the most current information.

Spirit Day @ U of L and Reminders
Hello Cheer Parents and Cheerleaders - 
Saturday was Spirit Day @ U of L and some of our girls participated. It was very exciting - seeing them cheer along side the U of L cheerleaders.
Please remember to send in your second payment as soon as possible! Your last payment is due on October 28th.
Our first game will be at Male on Thursday, October 30th.

October 14th Updates
Hello Cheer Parents,
Just a few updates for the week....
1. Your second payment was due yesterday, October 14. Please get it in ASAP! We have placed orders for everything--and they want their money!
2. Remember each cheerleader is responsible for selling 10 Peeler Cards or paying $100 for group fundraising.
3. A big THANKS to Teri Tuggle for getting the carpool together. We still need some drivers through the end of the year, so please see if you can sign up.
Oct 28th (only have 11 seats so far)
Nov 18 (only have 17)
Dec 9 (only have 12)
Dec 10 (only have 14)
Dec 16 (only have 11)
Here is also a list of concession stand workers needed.
I need workers for Oct 30 (1 more), Dec 11 (1 more), Dec 18 (2 more) and Jan 15th (5 more)
We have a few cheerleaders under the weather so here is a team hug and wishes to get better soon! (Sam, Kenzie, and Jasmyn)
I am hoping to start posting pictures soon.....

Cheer Camp
Hello All,
We made it!
The girls had a wonderful time-we learned chants, got fitted for uniforms and warm-ups, played kickball, danced, ate pizza and chips, played several team building games (step forward), danced some more, watched videos from previous competitions and year end videos, played hide and seek, and ate more pizza. Angela told them "beware if we take a picture--it could end up on the video!!!!" (tongue time)
Parents, thank you for entrusting your precious babies with us. We enjoyed them!

Go Parents!
Hello All,
Angela and I want to say thanks to everyone for stepping up with the carpool and to the parents who agreed to work extra in the concession stand if they can't drive. Great example of teamwork for our girls!
Terri Tuggle (Ciara's mom) is going to have a calendar at practice tomorrow for people to sign up to drive (my car decided it needed a break and broke down on the way home from practice) so I will not be able to be there tomorrow.

Hello All,
Just a few reminders...
1. Practice will be on Wednesday and Thursday of this week since school is out on Tuesday.
2. Cheer Camp is this Friday, October 10th 8:00 pm through 8:00 am Saturday! It will be held at the Okolona Church of Christ at 6105 Outer Loop. Please have your girls bring sleeping bag, pillow and any essential items needed. We will have drinks, snacks and order pizza. Please remember fee of $50 cash that needs to be paid when you drop off your child.
